Herbs and wine go in before all else. The head is luted before there is any fire. The cold water runs only once the pot is singing, which needs the fire. Drawing off is last.

Five buttons in two rows: Fill the pot, Lute the head and Light the fire across the top; Run the cold water and Open the cock below. Tap them in the order you would do them; each tap is added to the line marked Done so far. Then tap Work the still. Start again clears the line.
